With deep roots in jazz and a love for blending genres, Sage brings together the worlds of jazz, pop, soul, and R&B in her music. She’s been performing since she was ten—sharing the stage with Les Paul at the Iridium—and has carried that spirit of curiosity ever since. She earned pre-collegiate diplomas in Jazz Piano and Classical Voice from the Eastman School of Music, worked as an Equity actor in both New York and London, and later completed her master’s in Contemporary Performance and Production at Berklee. When she was sixteen and living in London, she picked up the guitar for the first time—an experience that opened a whole new chapter in how she expresses herself as an artist. Her debut album, arriving in early spring 2026, is produced by four-time Grammy winner and eleven-time nominee Larry Klein, and features an extraordinary lineup of jazz greats including Christian McBride, Braxton Cook, and Larry Goldings. Sage is a published author with her poetry & prose book 'The Taste of Pomegranate Seeds' out now (Wipf & Stock) and an audiobook/album on the way. She also co-hosts 'In Service of' an iHeart Podcast that speaks to artists and change makers about how being in service influences their work. Guests have included Jane Goodall, Jeff Goldblum, Shepard Fairey & many more.

“Her music reflects a deep connection to nature.”
"Some people speak music fluently… in the case of Sage Bava, you can hear it in the intricacies of her musical arrangements. She just comprehends music in a way very few can."
