Sage Bava is a singer-songwriter, musician, writer and creator. Her debut “deeply soulful” (LA times) album 'In Whose Eyes' coming fall 2025 features Christian McBride, Braxton Cook, Larry Goldings, Anthony Wilson and more and co-produced with iconic producer Larry Klein (Melody Gardot, Joni Mitchell). Framed by environmental anthems, the album poses the question: In Whose Eyes do we uncover ourselves?—weaving together realizations & our primal connection to nature.

Raised on Odonata an animal rescue and nature preserve, Sage was entrenched in a deep reverence for nature and all living beings. She began performing and writing at age ten, mentored early on by Les Paul, and went on to earn a master’s degree in production and contemporary performance from Berklee. She has performed internationally in New York City, Los Angeles, London, Spain, Costa Rica, and beyond, with spaces including The Times Center, 54 Below, Verse, The Pheasantry, Bottlerock Festival and most recently Burning Man. Her forthcoming single Nature tells the story of her late-teen struggle with suicidal ideation and the profound realization that reconnecting with nature can revive and heal. This spiritual yet grounded coming-of-age story reflects Sage’s broader artistic mantra: “We are nature, and the more we sever ourselves, the more we harm.”

Also a passionate storyteller, beyond her music Sage co-hosts the iHeart podcast In Service Of, which explores how being in service shapes the work of artists and change-makers, featuring guests such as Jane Goodall, Herbie Hancock, and Lenny Kravitz. She also published her debut poetry/prose book with Wipf & Stock and is passionate about journalism, with several published articles covering music, culture, and wellness. Sage hopes all her work amplifies the soul and embraces the mantra: “We are nature, and the more we sever ourselves from it, the more we harm.”
